Cookie Policy and Consent Notice

Effective Date: September 25, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Home Pick Inc. uses cookies and similar technologies on https://homepick.us.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small files stored on a visitor's device when they access a website.

Cookies and similar technologies may help websites function, remember preferences, measure usage, prevent fraud, and understand how visitors interact with content.

Similar technologies may include local storage, tracking pixels, tags, and other browser-based identifiers.

2. How Home Pick Uses Cookies

Home Pick uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

Necessary Cookies

These technologies support:

  • Website operation
  • Form functionality
  • Traffic management
  • Security and fraud prevention
  • Protection against automated or spam submissions

Necessary technologies may be provided by Webflow, Cloudflare, and Cloudflare Turnstile.

Analytics Cookies

Home Pick uses Google Analytics to understand:

  • How many people visit the website
  • Which pages they visit
  • How visitors find the website
  • General browser and device information
  • Approximate visitor location
  • How visitors interact with website content

Google Analytics may use cookies including:

  • _ga
  • _ga_J88XJ15NXK

These cookies distinguish visitors and maintain information about website sessions. Their duration may depend on Google's configuration and the visitor's browser.

Google Tag Local Storage

The September 16, 2026 website review also identified _gcl_ls, a Google tag entry in browser local storage. It is not a cookie. Google documents this entry as holding ad-click information for attribution, depending on tag configuration. Local storage can remain until cleared by the browser, visitor, or website code; it does not necessarily expire like a cookie.

This entry is not required for website operation or security. Its presence does not by itself demonstrate an active advertising campaign or configured Meta Pixel. Non-essential storage must not be created or used without the applicable consent. The site's configuration should prevent unused advertising-related storage from being created.

Scheduling Technologies

When a visitor schedules a call, they may be directed to a page operated by HighLevel/LeadConnector.

That service may use cookies or browser storage to:

  • Display available appointments
  • Maintain scheduling sessions
  • Prevent automated activity
  • Record referral or attribution information
  • Process appointment requests

The September 16, 2026 review found Meta's fbevents.js on the external booking page, but no pixel ID was configured and no Meta events were reported as sent during that test. Configuration may change. Visitors should review the privacy and cookie notices provided by the scheduling platform.

3. Cookie Consent

Where required by applicable law, Home Pick requests permission before activating non-essential analytics cookies or similar browser storage. Analytics is optional and remains disabled unless you accept it. The current consent preferences contain Necessary Cookies and Analytics Cookies only; advertising tracking is not currently configured as an active consent category.

Visitors should be able to:

  • Accept all cookies
  • Reject non-essential cookies
  • Manage cookie preferences
  • Change or withdraw consent later

Necessary cookies may remain active because they are required for website security and operation.

4. Managing Cookies

Visitors can manage cookies through:

  • The Cookie settings link in the Home Pick website footer, which allows you to reopen preferences and change or withdraw your choice
  • Browser privacy settings
  • Device settings
  • Provider-specific opt-out tools

Blocking cookies may affect certain website functions, including forms or appointment scheduling.

5. Third-Party Services

Third-party services used by or linked from the website have their own privacy and cookie practices.

These providers may include:

  • Webflow
  • Google Analytics
  • Cloudflare
  • HighLevel/LeadConnector
  • LinkedIn
  • Meta, if related technology is enabled

Home Pick does not control cookies placed directly by independently operated third-party websites.

6. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when cookies, service providers, legal requirements, or website functionality change.

The effective date at the top of the Policy will indicate when it was last updated.
